The Role AMERGINTS engineering team islooking foran entry level Software Test Engineer to support integrated teams by carrying out test development engineering activities in accordance with AMERGINT standards and practices. This position is imbedded with the product development teams which will provide areas for growth in multiple discipline areas (e.g., S/W development, Systems Engineering, Project Management). This position is based in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you will support integrated teams by carrying out software test development engineering activities in accordance with AMERGINT standards and practices. You will be working with the design, development and systems engineers to plan tests, ensuring the tests are designed to verify the pertinent requirements. You will be working with automated test tools which are Python based to ensure the products meet the specified design in a Linux environment. You will support Test Readiness Reviews and Factory Acceptance Tests and develop test methods/scripts to efficiently complete integrated system testing. You will be supporting development testing to reduce project risk, by developing procedures and software automation that will be used in test and verification operations. You will be developing, configuration managing and maintaining test assets. You will be responsible for writing test procedures and managing procedural redlines and updates.
