Job Summary
Provides technical support and assistance to customers, whether on the phone or in person. Primary intention is to ensure a client's satisfaction and ability to properly operate any PC or technology they may be having trouble with.
This position's internal job code is Technical Support - Help Desk. Our team is currently hiring for level 1 & 2.
Responsibilities
- Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
- Respond to customer issues via phone, email and computer chat
- Provide customer assistance
- Document customer interactions
- Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues
- Escalate issues to the next Tier with next level of difficulty
- Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software.
- Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved.
Minimum Qualifications
- Technical degree or 1-2+ years of experience working in a help desk environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts or sites with minimal notice
- Available to work regular overtime
- Proficiency with Windows computers
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Detail oriented in order to keep detailed notes on tickets
- Highly organized to keep Help desk tickets order
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance

Physical Demands of the Work Environment
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Summary Pay-Range
- Level 1 : $24.11 - $35.46
- Level 2: $29.83 - $43.87
