ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
This is an opportunity for high-performance individuals who want to understand the whole picture of how digital and data-driven transformation affects businesses and shapes organizations. You’ll join the core program team driving the Data-Driven Organization (DDO) initiative, comprised of highly diversified and collaborative people who regularly connect and work with business leaders on a variety of topics around becoming data-driven, applying generalist problem-solving skills to strategic questions.
You will drive the scaling the DDO initiative and play an active role in the solution set up, engaging in all activities around helping the solution grow with tangible business benefits. You’ll have a chance to bring in new ideas and take the lead on multiple value-driven initiatives aligned with the overall strategy.
Primary Responsibilities / Key Result Areas
- Contribute to the development of the transformation roadmap – strategy, planning, defining KPIs, process re-engineering, and driving tech-innovation - and execution thereof
- Lead project management activities
- Lead end-to-end initiatives independently, keeping the customer at the center and using lean start-up-based methodologies
- Identify new solutions and help develop the thought leadership of the team by maintaining the key trends, technologies, and developments
- Manage parts of the daily business and be the contact person for (internal and external) stakeholders
- Lead change management activities of different kinds, primarily social media and content creation
- Prepare and deliver role-based training for key stakeholders
- Support DDO communications to the wider SES community (e.g. Business Talks, maintenance of collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, roundtables, Training etc.)
- Gather and analyze information, formulate and challenge ideas, and develop and communicate recommendations
- Build an end-to-end data pipeline, from identifying and integrating new data sources, through modeling and transformation to exploitation. This could be a business intelligence dashboard, data science research project, or predictive model
- Hands-on activities on topics like Data Quality, Governance, Engineering, and Business Intelligence
- Engage in bottom-up projects and support project delivery and operational activities
COMPETENCIES
- Ability and openness to quickly learn the new methodologies, applications and tools like Power BI, Data discovery tools, and others
- Technical hands-on knowledge of various technologies around data management, analytics, or AI preferred
- Start-up mindset and management consulting approach

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance/Economics, Information Technology, Data Science or other relevant field
- At least 8 years of work experience ideally in the following:
> Experience with a consulting firm, ideally around digital transformation, data & analytics topics; and/or
> In a corporate role focused on data & analytics, data governance, digital areas (e.g., business analyst); and/or
> In a tech start-up firm; and/or
> In a data-driven product company
