Are you looking for a summer job for the month of July?
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Digital Network Operations (DINO) team which is amongst others responsible for 24/7 payload operations on our satellites. Based in Betzdorf, Luxembourg, you will support the operational work covering Occasional Use Accesses.
Your responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
- Taking incoming calls from Satellite News Gathering (SNG) trucks and do carrier line up's over spectrum analyzer;
- Support the Dino controller on several other monitoring and fault finding activities in the TV business;
- As this activities are often in the evening hours and weekends, this summer job would require working some shifts on Saturdays. However, a plan will be set up in advance.
YOUR PROFILE
You must haveBeing a currently enrolled student in engineering, telecommunications or any other relevant technical area;Good level of English, with any additional language (e.g. French or German) being an asset; Computer literate (Excel, MS PowerPoint);Able to work in Luxembourg (EU citizenship or valid work permit for Luxembourg). It would be nice if you had Ability to work accurate with high attention to detail;Work independently as well as in a team;Good communication skills;Technical interest in satellites.
