Maxar is looking for a versatile and innovative Knowledge Management Specialist to support an interesting and exciting project within the Intelligence Community.
Project:
The Knowledge Management Specialist will work independently and as part of a cross-functional team comprised of technical experts supporting an established and growing Intelligence Community (IC) mission. You will be the responsible for creating and maintaining key customer KM systems, working to increase system use, and developing future KM strategy for a number of teams and working groups. Previous experience working on-site to support the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Community is highly desirable.
Must Have Qualification:
5 years of experience minimum with bachelor's degree in Information Management, or related discipline
Must have an active TOP SECRET with CI-Poly security clearance.
5 years minimum experience working in the IC/DoD environments
Desired Qualification:
Maintain a KM Institute Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) certificate
Demonstrated on the job experience briefing heads of departments and agencies
Experience designing front-end solutions based on business requirements using tools such as SharePoint
Extensive knowledge of SharePoint and Sharepoint Designer workflows
Experience building solutions compromised of workflows, forms and dashboards, using SharePoint Online or Jira
Manage content that integrates information from departments and functions throughout the organization to facilitate easy access, sharing, and dissemination of information with internal business partners and external customers
Experience in leveraging knowledge management process improvement techniques to increase stakeholder participation and knowledge dissemination.
Provide surveys, interviews, and the results of a multi-divisional working group that enable methods of sharing knowledge both within and outside of the organization as well as vertically and laterally
Facilitate a multi-divisional working group using a variety of techniques and tools to enable that collaboration to occur, including disseminating information received to individuals or to the entire working group, prompting working group members to participate and provide specific items to the discussion
