Position: Mechanical Integration Engineer
Purpose of role: To assist the design engineers in the team
Responsibilities (In order of Priority)
1. Own a major integrated assembly and its subassemblies from design release to integration.
2. Working in cross functional teams with experts from all engineering departments.
3. Developing new procedures and standards for the integrating big assemblies.
4. During the design phase, analyse workflows, configure integration applications, plan and train technicians and provide support during integration.
5. Create detailed mechanical integration documentation with schematics.
6. Maintaining up to date vehicle configuration data.
7. Time management.
Skills required
Technical Skills (In order of Priority)
1. Experience in Solid Works and Creo 3D CAD tools. (software skills)
2. Experience in modelling complex parts and assemblies and preparation of manufacturing drawings.
3. Excellent knowledge and hands on experience with various assembly joints and integration methods.
4. Strong knowledge on GD&T and ability to interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings, including complex assemblies.
5 Exposure to aerospace integration / Quality standards and processes.
6. Hands on exposure to complete product development life cycle from configuration design to actual realization & assembly.
7. Hands on experience in independently assembling mechanical structures, fixtures & jigs.
8. Capability to physically understand the problems and offer quick solutions on a system level.
9. Proven experience in part inspection and handling of measuring instruments.
10. Assembly procedure and checklists document preparation.
11. Knowledge in Tolerance stack-up analysis.
12. Knowledge in manufacturing processes.
13. Experience in Composite and explosives assemblies will be an added advantage.

Qualification
Essential:
B.Tech in Aerospace/Mechanical engineering with min 3 years of experience in aerospace assemblies.
