Summary
As a Program Analyst matrixed to the NASA Engineering and Safety Center (or other NASA program office), you will work closely with multiple high-performing, fast paced, technical assessment teams. You will provide programmatic and financial management leadership and support, develop cost estimates, and budgets for presentation to formal Boards for approval, and implement formal agreements to obtain technical expertise required to meet Mission and Program requirements.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level: Providing program, planning, and control support (e.g., resource planning and phasing, cost estimating, variance analysis, milestone and schedule tracking) and reporting for multi-year technical activities; Supporting the development, implementation, and tracking of complex procurement instruments and the required documentation; Communicating the resource status and financial concerns of a project with management and technical leads; Collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, such as Program Managers, Chief Engineers, contractors and personnel in industry, academia, and other government agencies.
