Job Description
General. The Contractor shall provide systems integration engineering support for product development of systems such as the Health Readiness and Performance System (HRAPS).
The Contractor shall apply engineering principles for the effective integration of technology(s) into a system of systems, such as HRAPS, using an incremental, phased approach.
The Contractor shall research, evaluate, and recommend Government off the shelf (GOTS) and Commercial off the shelf (COTS) sensors, algorithms and suggested leader actions into actionable information based on, but not limited to, requirements, technology maturity and availability for inclusion to programs of record in an incremental, phased approach.
The Contractor shall develop plans, schedules, and estimates as they relate to systems integration. The Contractor shall draft technical instructions, engineering plans, technical designs, and other systems integration related documents.
The Contractor shall have knowledge of wearable devices, physiological sensors and algorithms into actionable information that allows small unit leaders to make data-driven decisions on unit performance and safety.
Personnel performing in this task area shall have the capability of applying software and/or systems engineering knowledge, skills and experience in integrating technology into a system of systems using an incremental approach.
Personnel shall also have the capability of applying knowledge, skills, and experience creating and manipulating systems engineering models using Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Related Field
Experience: 10 years’ experience
Additional Information
Duty: This position is both Full-Time and Hybrid. The Full Time Contractors can expect to work at the government’s facility on 5 days a week The Hybrid Contractor can expect to work at the government's facility 2-3 days a week.
