Main role

Definition of End-to-End system security scenarios, requirements analysis and derivation at a lower level of decomposition, design and integration activities for Satellite systems and TLC related aspects

Activity/Responsibility

System requirements definition and architectural design for satellite projects, ensuring compliance to requirements and production of technical documentation
Support the preparation of technical and economic proposals
Contribute to the requirements flow-down, interfaces (ICDs) and AIV strategies, with the adoption of system engineering best practices like requirements traceability, system modelling, trade-off analyses, etc.
Support to security certification activities
support cost/benefit analyses and contribute to the costing process
contribute to the Project's formal reviews
support the preparation and execution of plans and procedures for installation and AIV
ensure the project coordination, with the goal to reach maximum efficiency and efficacy, respecting the economical, technical and time constraints, in duly coordination with the Program Management office

Security standards and best practices

Security incident management
Systems Engineering
Project management
Knowledge of system engineering with particular emphasis on requirements management and use of IBM DOORS tool for requirement management is a plus
Good knowledge of Telecommunication Network and System for networking
Good knowledge of the Network Architectures and business models for network services
Good knowledge of the design and dimensioning of TLC networks
Good knowledge of transmission, encryption and switching techniques for TLC networks
Knowledge of Satellite TLC Missions
Excellent English skills
Negotiation and communication skills
Provide support to the identification and management of the technical risks
