Ground Segment System Engineer
Telespazio is running a program for the realization of safety systems, such as tracking radars and cinetelescopes, in support to launchers at European Spaceport in French Guyane. The candidate will be part of a team carrying out the tracking system design, implementation and/or major upgrades based upon evolution, obsolescence management or major anomaly resolution, e.g.:
- System and subsystem design definition
- Day-by-day technical management of activities and suppliers
- Responsible for integration, installation and testing activities, including preparation plans and procedures;
- Engineering support to system exploitation
Technical skills:
The following are mandatory skills:
- Master degree in Electric Engineering and/or Telecommunication or equivalent
- 4 years’ experience in tracking/telemetry programs or equivalent
- System engineering, standard ECSS, standard ITU
- Experience in international space programs (International and domestic Space Agencies)
The following skills constitute an asset:
- Knowledge of radar theory and technics constitute an asset
- Satellite communications (Telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C), CCSDS, Link Budget, etc.)
- Terrestrial communication / Data dissemination
- Knowledge of Labview, MATLAB constitutes an asset

The candidate shall be fluent in English language. The knowledge of French language constitutes an asset.
