We are now looking to on-board an IT Support specialist for our company in Luxembourg to drive and execute all our IT support related activities of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, configuration and maintenance tasks related to the IT infrastructure, software and hardware
- Set up laptops and configure them for our new employees
- Troubleshooting applications, network issues and systems
- Represent the service desk at team and department meetings when required
- Responsible for the management of ordering the equipment needed for our office such as laptops, desktops and other tools
- To provide clear and structured information and answer questions to ensure that the IT processes are followed in the same way by everyone
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, the local network (LAN) and video conferencing equipment
- Maintain accurate records of support activities and communicate progress to the management
- Ensure systems are secure and protected from breach or viruses
- Support with the management and other employees execution of operations-related tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or similar
- At least 2 years’ experience in providing technical support in a corporate environment
- Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge and command on Microsoft products
- Good knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, Network Sharing, Permissions, Management Console)
- Recent support centre/technical support experience will be an advantage
