Transform the customer experience by creating and bringing to market products and services based upon globalized connectivity without boundaries. You will support Intelsat’s Land Mobile business by leading the creation of new product concepts, including the value proposition and go-to-market strategies for enterprise and government users.
As the subject matter expert, familiar with existing and emerging industry and market trends, drive development and track performance of insight-driven, integrated sales and marketing plans. Train the sales and marketing teams on product features, messaging, and market positioning. You will focus on successful product introduction, management, performance and revenue.
With clear goals and KPIs set, you will report progress to senior management, analyze successes and drive solutions to issues. You will be accountable for revenue growth and profitability across the Land Mobile product portfolio.

- Lead product definition, business case, and lifecycle management, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and supportive of go-to-market activities.
- Track market trends and evolve the Land Mobile roadmap through ongoing evaluation and management of the product and service portfolio.
- Understand customer segmentation and audiences within each of the target horizontal and vertical markets in the enterprise and government areas.
- Benchmark competitive offerings, recommend partnership opportunities, and track industry trends that will impact the future of the Land Mobile market.
- Develop and convey segmented strategic marketing plans in conjunction with mobility product marketing, as well as corporate marketing and events teams.
- Articulate product strategies and go-to-market plans to appropriate internal and external forums, including the Mobility, International Government, and IGC business units.
- Work closely with Market Development and Channel Management to capture customer feedback, aligning product requirements to define and execute growth strategies.
- Develop relationship with key customers, in partnership with Channel Management, participating in customer meetings and providing updates Solution Partners (SPs).
- Partner with internal leadership teams, including Product Development, Service Delivery, Network Engineering, Operations, and Logistics to implement and improve processes.
- Assess value added service and application options that will enhance or drive new sales of Land Mobile services.
- Act as a liaison both internally and externally, in order to support the development and management of key vendor relationships.
- Build and manage processes related to product and service concept development, including the creation, management and documentation of product requirements.
- Monitor competitive offerings, conduct gap analysis, assess and integrate findings into product marketing plans and messaging.
- Ensure alignment on product roadmap and go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, value proposition, pricing and distribution strategies.
- Coordinate with product marketing to build complete set of product information, including marketing collateral and training materials.
- Collaborate with Market Development to identify large strategic opportunities creating a feedback loop to ensure that roadmap is aligned with market requirements and demand.
- Facilitate user experience sessions through demonstrations and trials, documenting key use cases and customer specific case studies.
- Establish framework for managing terminal inventory for demos and sales, coordinating with business support systems (BSS), equipment purchasing and logistics teams.
- Ensure complete and accurate reporting of KPIs in coordination with the Platform Service Management team and the Mobility Financial Analyst.
- Establish a metrics program and processes that identifies improvements and enhancements of Land Mobility offerings
- Coordinate regular and consistent communication of product roadmap with internal stakeholders.
You should definitely have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or engineering.
- At least 10-years of recent and relevant product management experience including development and execution of product strategies and plans for enterprise and government markets.
- Good knowledge of the economics and operations of telecommunications networks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience delivering high-impact presentations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience.
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional team environment while simultaneously handling multiple complex projects with demanding schedules.
- Experience working in matrixed organization and demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, as well as excellent organizational skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel.
